Abstract
Summary
Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) inversion is an ill posed problem. In this study, an innovative NMR inversion method combining curvature smoothing and maximum entropy regularization was proposed. T2 distributions obtained from curvature smoothing, maximum entropy method, and the proposed method were compared by numerical simulation, and the effect of the proportional coefficient of the regularization parameter on the inverted NMR T2 distributions was studied. The results show that the new method is better than curvature smoothing method and maximum entropy method as the data signal-to-noise ratio is low, and proper selection of the proportional coefficient is of great value.
