Abstract

Summary

One of the main stages in the graph of processing seismic data is the procedure for calculating and correcting static corrections. The resulting data of this procedure are short-period, medium-period and long-period components of the static corrections. Recall that short-period components are responsible for compensating for the terrain’s rough terrain, medium-period components for high-speed in homogeneities occurring in the geological environment and long-period ones for replacing the upper part of the section. Our company successfully uses methods of correction of short-period and long-period components (the first arrivals of refracted waves and correction in an automatic mode). However, in the case of a complex geological structure, it is necessary to correct the medium-period component (for example, high-speed heterogeneities in the development of salt-dome tectonics). In this paper, we present a technique for recording medium-period anomalies in an interactive mode, in order to achieve high quality of the resulting seismic images.
