Abstract

Summary

This paper focuses on a heterogeneous carbonate reservoir with extensive baffles in the Middle East. in this study, baffle distribution of target formation is characterized based on core observation, well loggings, and image logs. Then, its impact towards reservoir performance is evaluated based on production data and dynamic surveillance data. finally, corresponding development strategies are proposed for this reservoir with extensive baffles.
