Abstract

Summary

We are currently facing the stage where the field production is declining and the idle well inventories is rising day after day. To revive the idle wells, behind casing opportunities are sought as it requires minimal operating expenses and the study consume lesser time compare to other types of projects. This is made possible due to enhancement of lenient process flow and utilization of newer tools. As production gain need to be realized this year too, low resistivity play should be considered as an opportunity to supplement the current production. Coupled the two niche scopes, quick monetization can be achieved to supplement the current production and reduce the idle wells.
