Reliable information on mineral exploration, mineral resources and mineral reserves is important for informing decision makers and to protect investors and the public. The PERC Reporting Standard provides a framework for consideration of such aspects from a European perspective, as well as influencing the development of consistent international standards through PERC’s membership of CRIRSCO. The CRIRSCO-family of international codes and standards are continually evolving. In the current update cycle of the PERC Reporting Standard attention is focussed on incorporating additional guidance on the reporting of environmental, social and governance issues, as well as the need to discuss sources of risk and uncertainty.
