Abstract

Summary

Soil erosion is a major environmental problem, especially in regions economically dependent on agriculture. The purpose of this study is to analyze the use of remote sensing materials in monitoring of erosion processes. Multi-temporal image analysis, such as Landsat-5 TM and Landsat-8 OLI, or other multispectral images can be used for research. Remote sensing has proved to be a good method for timely investigation of soil erosion over large areas.
