Abstract

Summary

Benzohopanes are common compounds in sediments and crude oils. Three series of benzohopanes have been reported so far, but we have found two new series of benzohopanes in lacustrine sediments. This abstract exhibits the occurrence and identification of five series of benzohopanes in lacustrine shales, oil shales and mudstones.
