Abstract

Summary

We describe the analysis of non-derivatized bacteriohopanepolyols using UHPLC coupled to high resolution MS. We demonstrate the capabilities of the method by discussing the results of the analysis of a soil sample taken near an active terrestrial methane seep. We were able to identify 131 individual BHPS. We also identified tentatively identified several novel BHPs
