Abstract

Summary

Reservoir Mapping While Drilling has helped improve the geosteering and reservoir mapping services for over a decade and bridges the gap between borehole and seismic scale data. This example illustrates how, by utilising cloud computing power and combining the analysis of seismic data with borehole derived full 3D electromagnetic LWD measurements, leads to an improved structural delineation and geosteering results in 3D space, all during real-time drilling operations.
