Abstract
Summary
Nowadays proactive geosteering has become almost mandatory for drilling horizontal wells, because using this method you can predict boundaries position and avoid exit from desired zone. One of the best method of proactive geosteering is deep-azimuthal resistivity and inversion as method to analyze it. This article includes the results of applying the developed stochastic inversion to Novatek data from ADR (Halliburton) and AziTrak (Baker Hughes) tools in similar geological conditions of the terrigenous formation of West Siberia.
