Abstract

The promised competitive advantage of today's data processing and visualization systems is blunted by problems in data storage. A strategy for storing large numbers of files for data processing and visualization must be implemented. This strategy must protect valuable digital assets while maintaining a minimum amount of expensive high performance disk storage.
