Abstract
<P align=justify>From the perspective of the Eötvös Loránd Geophysical Institute of Hungary (ELGI), Endre Törös, head of the Engineering and Geophysics Department,* provides some examples of the near surface geoscience methods being used in Hungary for a range of activities from environmental waste disposal to archaeological investigations.</p>
