Abstract
In April and May 1983 the Geophysics Group of the Mining Department. Technische Hogeschool Delft (Delft University of Technology), carried out a seismic reflection experiment in the North Sea in cooperation with the Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research (DGV-TNO). The experiment, which cost in excess of f200000, was sponsored by six major oil companies, three seismic contractors and DGV-TNO, who also managed the project.
