Abstract

The effectiveness and the costs of geological exploration, primarily of that for oil and gas are, to a considerable extent, determined by the effectiveness of seismic exploration. Over 90% of the increase in the established reserves of oil and gas has been obtained in areas prepared for drilling with the aid of seismic exploration methods.
