Abstract

This paper addresses the issue of quality improvement in general terms and how HGS, in particular, is working towards quality improvements which will benefit company performance and customer satisfaction. 'Quality' is a word which is well known to geophysicists and geologists. The search for ever-better quality in seismic data has led to both gradual and breakthrough improvements in the seismic process and has also led to cost reduction; far example, to make 3D seismic exploration an effective taal.
