Abstract
A08 EVOLVING SEISMIC TECHNOLOGIES PROVIDES AN IMPROVED UNDERSTANDING IN THE IN SALAH GAS RESERVOIRS CENTRAL ALGERIA 1 Abstract The In Salah Gas project is a phased development of seven gas fields located in the Ahnet Basin in central Algeria. Northern three fields of the project developed initially and project delivered its first gas June 2004. The old nature of ISG Paleozoic reservoirs are characterized by hard acoustic impedance high velocity and high density. ISG seismic data are not heavily contaminated by multiple reflection noise. The Krechba and Reg fields are covered by relatively good 3D seismic data whilst the Teguntour
