Karimaie (1) - O.Torsæter (1) - M.R.Esfahani (2) 1-Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) -Trondheim-Norway 2-Research Institute of Petroleum of Iran (RIPI) Abstract In this paper the results from experiments of water injection in fractured carbonate rock are reported. The experimental setup consists of a column of 3 Asmari limestone outcrop cores which are taken from the southern part of Iran. The column of cores was placed in the center of a plexiglass cylinder while the annulus between the core wall and the cylinder wall serves
