Modeling of seismicity using simplified fault-and-block geometry for South Bulgaria

Block structure dynamics modeling is method allows us to use a realistic geometry of the blocks, based on any relevant information. Driving tectonic forces (velocities of the boundary blocks and underlying medium) can be prescribed using geodetic data. With the software - BLOCKD is testing structural block model of the Southern Bulgaria and around lands. Present is GR – relation for different depths of synthetic catalogue and observed seismisity. The different depths have and different epicentral distribution.
