Abstract

Presence of partialy conducting overburden and the heterogeneities in them highly distort the anomalies of the<br>conducting bodies of interest. Scale model experiments have been conducted to verify the utility of the<br>Frequencie Difference Methods in removing these effects. This method functions well in reducing subtantially<br>the geologic noise due to heterogeneties of low induction number and also the Ohmic – overburden effects.<br>However, it is most effective at relatively low frequencies.
