GARAGASH* 3 SUMMARY Development of an oil field in East Siberia is hampered by sharp lateral variation of productivity details of which remain obscure. The productivity is related to zones of increased fracturing in a tight carbonate reservoir. Fracturing is assumed to be azimuthally aligned but no definite information on the degree of alignment is available.
