Abstract
In desert environment, the volumetric transport rate of sand, or flux, is a fundamental quantity that relates to the rate of landscape evolution through surface deposition and erosion. Infrastructures in areas subject to sand displacement may take advantage of a global, yet locally accurate, sand mobility assessment in their surroundings. Here we present a series of dune mobility studies carried out from optical satellite images and the COSI-Corr tool suite.
