Abstract
Computers are getting faster, but the computing time for simulating a reservoir is not in general decreasing. Instead, models are getting larger, or more complex, or more models are being simulated to investigate uncertainty or as part of an optimisation workflow. We are not yet in a position to do all of these things at once.
