Soufleris (WesternGeco) SUMMARY Prestack depth migration is now routinely applied to improve the structural and stratigraphic imaging of complex structures but also for flat or gently dipping geology. Accurate velocity models combined with state-of-the-art migration algorithms can yield detailed images which when calibrated with well data can be used to reliably extract and map reservoir attributes. We present a case study of a Tertiary
