Akinmusire (Bulwark Services Ltd) SUMMARY Prestack depth migration (PreSDM) is commonly used in complex geological settings where different lithological units are placed next to each other through tectonics and deformation resulting in high lateral and vertical velocity variations. The subsurface offshore Nigeria is characterised by deltaic deposition of sediments in a growth fault setting with relatively little displacement along the faults.
