Evans (Imperial College Department of Geology) SUMMARY Seismic reflection profiles were interpreted to investigate formation mechanisms of salt withdrawal minibasins and minibasin adjustment during differential sedimentary loading by prograding delta margin sediments. The main topic was to recognize the sensitivity to the salt mobilization and the sedimentary overburden effect and to understand the processes driving the differences in deformation styles.
