Abstract
P122 Algal Mound Reservoir Characterization Utilizing Multicomponent Seismic Data Roadrunner Field Paradox Basin U.S.A. R.D. Benson* (Colorado School of Mines) SUMMARY The Algal Mounds of the Upper and Lower Ismay reservoirs of the Paradox Basin are complex and difficult to detect and characterize using conventional techniques. A 3D Multicomponent seismic survey acquired over the Roadrunner and Towaoc fields has been utilized to better delineate the internal structures of the reservoirs and to improve reservoir development. EAGE 69 th Conference & Exhibition — London UK 11 - 14 June 2007 A Three-dimensional (3D) Multicomponent (9C) seismic survey has been acquired processed
