Silinskaya (Ukrainian State Geological Prospecting Institute) SUMMARY The efficiency of various processes and the reliability of geological interpretation depend on the resolution of seismic data. In order to improve this characteristic we developed a new method optimizing the socalled generalized radius of gyration of seismic wavelets in a limited frequency range.
