Abstract

The task is to explore hydraulic conductible ranges in a dam. This object is situated near the Rhine, Germany, for flood prevention. On the one hand it is necessary to detect these ranges which are destabilising the dam. On the other hand, this knowledge is important for technical reconstructions. The exploration of such embedments was done by resistivity measurements in a first step. We validated the indications by nuclear geophysical soundings in a second step. In an experiment hydraulic conductivity coefficients were computed.
