Abstract

The ground beneath our feet is littered with features from today's and previous civilisations. Today's developers and civil engineers are encountering major problems from unknown buried objects, from pipes and cables to priceless ancient relics. A method to quantify the possible problems is needed prior to construction and during the planning stages of a development. This paper describes how ground radar has gone a long way to a lleviate these problems.
