Abstract
Chalks and chalky limestones are recorded from the Upper Cretaceous and Lower Eocene of<br>Tunisia. The Cretaceous chalks are referred to the Abiod Formation and are of Campanian-<br>Lower Maastrichtian age (Figure 1).
