Abstract
The molasse deposits of the PeriAdriatic Depression (PAD) include the upper part of the foredeep section of the southern part of the Adriatic basin (onshare). They are dated from the Serravalian to the Pliocene period inclussively. Their eastern part is set by an unconformity onto the Ionian and Krujazone structures, whereas westward, they are interpreted to be concordant with underlying deposits, but with a disputable successivity.
