Abstract
The problem of using of A*p, A*sv apparent anisotropy coefficients (AAC) was discussed in papers (Lyakhovitsky, 1984, 1987; Thomsen, 1986; Seriff and Sriram, 1991), but in the general scope of velocity anisotropy terminology by Winterstein (1990) the definition of AAC is absent and only apparent anisotropy is discussed
