Abstract
Interpretation was made of recent Bouguer gravity and total intensity magnetic data collected over the partially exposed ophiolite. terrain (the Dibba Zone, a 48 km coastal transect between Dibba, 25°. 75 N, and Khor Kalba, 25.00 N, and an inland 30 km transect between Masafi and Port Fujira, about latitude 25°. 25 N) in the Northern Oman Mountains. Results are correlated with marine Free Air gravity and magnetic data in the northwesternmost Gulf of Oman south of Musandam Peninsula .
