Abstract
The region investigated in this article confined to the active seismic-geodynamic zone, which is considered to be seismically active in modern era. It is located between large Eurasian and Arabian lithospheric plates and belongs to mobile zone of the Caucasus segment of the Alpine-Himalayan belt. It is characterized by high contrast and intensity of magmatic processes (including mud volcanism), unusually high tectonic and geodynamic activity and mobility, a large network of multidirectional faults, which are possible ways of emigration of hydrocarbon products from the depths of the Earth.
The main geodynamic movements of the tectonic elements of the region under study in the Mesozoic history of development have established all the main stages of its formation under the conditions of reciprocal movements of the Euro-Asian and African-Arabian continental plates, during which the structure of compression and expansion with actively subduction and riftogenic magmatism and the gradual reduction of the Tetis paleo-ocean to a complete extent occurred its closure. Based on the general laws of tectonic and magmatic evolution, it was established that in this region in Mesotetis there were conditions of a passive continental margin, which is a favorable condition for the formation and formation of the largest hydrocarbon deposits.
