Abstract
The reason for the discrepancy between proved oil reserves and its real production rate was an inaccurate geological model of the reservoir. Reinterpreted well-logs, built new geological maps with regards to the erosion boundary, and a new 3D geological model resulted as a newly estimated reasonable oil reserves. To sum up, oil net pay within the reservoir A is extended approximately by 25 %. The oil productive area has grown up and total amount of oil reserves increased by 125 %.
