Abstract
P324 Lebedev Schemes for Elastic Anisotropic Problems V. Lisitsa* (Inst. of Petroleum Geology and Geophysics SB RAS) SUMMARY This paper presents Lebedev scheme(LS) for simulation of waves’ propagation in anisotropic elastic media. This is second order explicit finite-difference scheme on staggered grids. This scheme computes by turns components of the stress tensor in one set of points and the velocity components in the other one. The main properties of LS are the same as for well known Rotated Staggered Grids Scheme (RSGS) but it possesses two main advantages. First of all implementation of the RSGS requires two times more RAM
