Abstract
Recent developments in marine acquisition technology have resulted in a progressive increase in 3D subsurface coverage per sail line by increasing the number of towed streamers, often using multiple vessels. The design of, multistreamer 3D surveys has consequently become more complex due to the need to consider aspects of the acquisition system response relating to increased lateral separation between the sources and receivers [1,2].
