f Waveform Based Reflectivity Analysis

This paper reports a waveform based amplitude variation with offset (AVO) analysis from seismic data and well log data. The seismic data processing sequence includes signature deconvolution, standard predictive deconvolution and pre-stack migration (Hu & White 1994). A beamforming technique, which is effective at short offsets, has been applied to preserve the primaries and attenuate the multiples on these common reflection point (CRP) gathers (Hu & White 1993).
