f Oil-gas potential of Rifean Basins located over the Russian Plate

The lower, most subsided parts of sedimentary basins (Rifean-Vendian series), located on ancient platforms, are characterized by riftogenic origin. Within these Rifean rifts two factors are combined, playing the important role in oil-gas formation: accumulation of many kilometers thick sediments, and their intensive healing due to the increased heat flow.
