Abstract

Summary

The main reserve for the development of oil production in the fields are pre-estimated reserves. At the same time, the distribution of reserves is uneven across territories, deposits, and stratum. Despite the high level of exploration in some areas, new deposits are being discovered. Expanding and changing the area of known deposits, detailing and identifying structural features, which generally affects the assessment of the state of reserves and determines the conditions for their further operation. To develop both current and long-term exploration plans, it is necessary to have a holistic view of the Geology of the region, which should be based on the study and establishment of regularities of the geological structure and oil content. The basis for this is a unified concept and methodological methods of research using the full volume of geological and geophysical materials. To this end, large-scale regional projects have been initiated on the territory of the Company’s operations in Western Siberia, covering large territories with highly detailed geological surveys. Currently, research has been completed on the Northern part of the territory of activity in the Latitudinal Ob region. The object of the study was Jurassic (Y1 and Y2) and Neocomian deposits (BS10-BS11 complex).
